Brooke Lee is a freelance writer and editor in Montreal with an MA in Education and Gender & Women’s Studies (McGill University). She hosts an online workshop called Sapphic Writes! and writes fiction under the pen name River Lee. Currently, she is working on a novel about musicians, sapphic love, and the Canadian indie rock scene of the mid-2000s—a multidisciplinary project that blends music and prose, funded by Canada Council for the Arts.
